What Our Parents Are Saying...
LaSalle Catholic School has been a great second home for our kids! It's a wonderful family environment with great teachers and staff! I have been so impressed with the fun faith-related activities they do as a school and all the field trips they get to go on. Our kids have learned so much and really enjoy going to school!

Academic Excellence at
La Salle Catholic School
At La Salle Catholic School, strong academics are at the heart of what we do. Our students consistently perform well above the state average on the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP).
In 2024, La Salle students demonstrated exceptional growth in both English Language Arts and Math, with proficiency levels significantly higher than state benchmarks across all grade levels.
This achievement reflects our commitment to:
Small class sizes that allow for personalized instruction
Dedicated teachers who support each child’s learning journey
1:1 technology and innovative classroom tools
A safe, faith-based environment that nurtures both character and academic success

Rooted in the Gospel values of faith, service, love, and community, La Salle Catholic School partners with families to nurture lifelong learners. We welcome students of all faiths into an inclusive, family-centered environment where small class sizes mean big opportunities.

A Message From Father Tyler
Catholic schools and education has always been foundational to our parishes and our
communities. The saint that we are named for, St John Baptist de La Salle, was a great
educator and reformer, who taught that instead of harsh punishments to correct children,
teachers should show mercy and seek to touch the hearts of their students, to remind them that
they are a beloved child of God. From his Meditations, St John Baptist de La Salle wrote, “To
touch the hearts of your students is the greatest miracle you can perform.”
La Salle School continues in that spirit and tradition by lifting up the dignity of each child that
comes through our doors, providing an excellent education in partnership with our families and
communities, both in academics and in Faith. It is my privilege as pastor of the St John Baptist
de La Salle Pastorate and pastoral coordinator of our La Salle Catholic School to serve you and
our students, as we strive to raise future leaders rooted in faith, love, service, and community.
Welcome, and may God bless you!
