A Message From Father Phil
Greetings and God's Blessing to all the students ready to head back to the classrooms. Blessing also to the teachers and principal as well as to all the support staff that makes the school run as efficiently and effectively as possible. I, along other priests, Fr. M.J, Fr. Eric, look forward to celebrating school Mass with you. We also desire to visit the classrooms during the school day in order to get to know you as you get to know us. Hopefully you might have questions to ask of us regarding our beautiful Catholic faith and all the benefits that come with being a believer in Jesus Christ. Since we priests are new and some of you are new too, it is natural for us to have some fear of the unfamiliar as well as the unknown. I found this poem as a piece of inspiration for everyone as school starts up again. See you soon.
Nervous Beginnings
The sun peeks through, a brand new dawn, With fresh notebooks waiting, the summer is gone. A flutter in my chest, my heart beats fast, A step into the classroom, I hope it will last. Deep breaths I take, clear out the doubt, With friends by my side, I’ll figure it out. New faces and laughter, a journey to start, In this sea of learning, I’ll open my heart.
